Hello! I’m Armin,

A UX Researcher based in Seattle, WA. I'm fascinated by the interaction between technology, human behavior, and health, and I strive to improve well-being through actionable user insights. With a rich academic background that includes a Bachelor’s in Design, a Master’s in Project Management, and a PhD in Human-Building Interaction, I've developed a multidisciplinary approach that allows me to explore how technology interact with human experiences.

Currently, I'm part of the OneDrive SharePoint Team at Microsoft, focused on crafting seamless and intuitive digital experiences. My prior roles as a lead evaluative UX researcher at Amazon's Project Kuiper and at Dexcom have honed my skills and deepened my appreciation for the delicate balance between user and business needs.

Visual storytelling is my superpower

I excel at transforming user data and insights into compelling narratives that do more than just inform—they inspire change and drive innovation in design. This skill has been essential in my efforts to improve user experiences and make technology more accessible and enjoyable.

What I do when I'm not working

As a global citizen who has lived in 4 countries and traveled to over 40 cities, I have a rich understanding of diverse cultures. This exposure shapes my approach to UX research, fostering a more inclusive and globally aware perspective.

When I'm away from my desk, I enjoy discovering local coffee shops, exploring new destinations with my beautiful wife, cooking with friends, and staying active with volleyball and cycling.

I'm also a green-thumbed woodworker! My home is a flourishing garden with 64 plants enjoying luxury automated lighting. I'm currently developing a self-watering system to ensure they remain healthy and vibrant.
